1-Point Perspective Drawing
The next drawing we did in class was the 1-Point Perspective Drawing. The goal of this drawing was to achieve all previous parts of a drawing, while also capturing correct, single point perspective. To do outlining lines must be vertical, horizontal, or point to a vanishing point. I think that most of my lines do accomplish this, but some lines, such as the four towers beside the Taj Mahal, could be more vertical and less crooked. I also think that the reflection in the water could have been much better and more in proportion with the other elements of the drawing. I think that the hedges along the side enhance the effect of the vanishing point and were executed well. I think my shading of the domes and arches was good and created depth in the drawing. Overall, I think I did well on the drawing, but could have done better in proportion and perspective.
